The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to give detailed information to the visitors and guests of the Twosome Cabin accommodation website about the processing of their personal data and about the cookies used on the website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR), Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information, and the applicable tourism legislation.

II. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA (BOOKING AND ACCOMMODATION)

While operating the accommodation we process your data for the following purposes:

1. Enquiries, requests for quotes and bookings

  • Data processed: Guest's name, email address, phone number, dates of arrival and departure, number of guests.
  • Purpose: Preparing the contract, reserving the accommodation and keeping in contact.
  • Legal basis: Performance of a contract [GDPR Article 6(1)(b)].
  • Retention: Until the end of the general limitation period following termination of the contract (5 years).

2. Document scanning and VIZA data reporting (mandatory)

Under the tourism act, the accommodation provider is required to record every guest's identity document digitally on arrival.

  • Data processed: Data shown on the document (name, place and date of birth, gender, nationality, mother's name, document identifier).
  • Purpose: Data reporting to the VIZA system for public security purposes.
  • Legal basis: Compliance with a legal obligation (Act CLVI of 2016).
  • Recipient: Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ).

3. NTAK data reporting

  • Data processed: Anonymised statistical data (nationality, postcode of residence, year of birth).
  • Purpose: Statistical reporting to the National Tourism Data Supply Centre.

4. Invoicing and tourist tax (IFA)

  • Data processed: Billing name and address.
  • Purpose: Issuing invoices and filing tourist tax returns with the Municipality of Visegrád.
  • Legal basis: Legal obligation (Accounting Act, local tax regulation).
  • Retention: 8 years (under the Accounting Act).

III. DETAILED COOKIE POLICY

The website uses cookies in order to improve the user experience, to ensure that the website works and to compile visitor statistics.
